Welcome to the gameyard! This is where I share and talk about games I've played and liked and/or would recommend cheking out if they interest you! I may in the future add a rating system most likely based on how "wet" the game is (like with blood) but for now there isn't one. At the bottom you'll also find a list of all the games I've played so far this year.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

I first bought TBOI and it's DLC Afterbirth in 2014-2016, played it for less than an hour and then never touched it until in 2024 I decided to boot it up looking for something to play and oh boy I got into it. It probably helped I now had friends also into it though I think in some ways it's also because I've changed since I was 14-15. It's just fun even when I get frustrated from losing runs over and over I find myself coming back to it. it's dirty and gross and full of outdated memes and I like that about it. Thanks to steam family sharing I now have access to the the newer DLCs too so I've been putting even more time into it!

How Fish is Made

From creators that brought you Mouthwashing. I like it more though

Mouthwashing

I was pretty excited for it and it's still good but I'll admit I was a bit disappointed when I first finished playing as I didn't connect with it the way I did How Fish Is Made

OFF

OFF is my favourite game. It's by no means perfect and there may be other games I "enjoyed" playing more but OFF is I think the most important game to me. I played it when I was 13 when it had gotten big on tumblr at the time and I think it had the biggest influence on how I view art at that age and helped me become the person I am today. I was already predisposed to enjoying indie titles, I grew up on RPGmaker horror games, OFF isn't really a horror game but even ignoring that it stands out so distinctly from the other RPGmaker games to me. It's a game I've come to appreciate more over time, going from weird little game I played with I was 13 and lacked critical thinking skills to a fully grown adult replaying it in 2025 with so so many thoughts about it. It amazes me that it's something Mortis Ghost made as just a funny little thing to share with his friends and that's kind of inspiring.

Paper Angel

Big fan of slitherbop's work since Hot Dagn

Perfect Vermin
Silent Hill

I played through the Silent Hill games for the first time back in 2022 through emulating. I think in terms of things the future Silent Hill games are improvements when it comes to story, character, and gameplay but the first one feels the most concentrated in the industrial aesthetic so it holds relatively equal footing with the others for me. I see how the series influenced many games to come including OFF!

Voices of the Void

I love never locking any doors

Games I gotta make images for so I can add up there

Yuppie Psycho, Angels of Death?, Deadly Premonition, More when I think of them

Games I have played this year (2026)

Games with an * might get added up above.

  1. Bioshock 2 - Any possible chance I would like this was absolutely soured by how much this game fucking crashes.
  2. The Heilwald Loophole - I wanted to like this more there's a lot about it I do really like but idk the story left me unsatisfied and the figuring out how to get some things was a bit annoying.
  3. Hypnospace Outlaw* - Man this game oozes charm.
  4. Lost in Vivo* - I love dirty grungey grimey horror games!!!!!!!
  5. Kio's Adventure - Downloaded from some random person on reddit. Calling this game clunky and stupid is underselling how bad it is.
  6. The Room Two - I love puzzle game!
  7. OnlyCans: Thirst Date - Somehow I S-ranked the raw meat one and not any others
  8. Swallow the Sea
  9. Kona - Writers when tasked to tell any sort of story involving indigenous people "erm.... the Wendigo?"
  10. The Children of Clay*
  11. The New Flesh* - If you go into this expecting a more substantial game you'll be disappointed but as an interactive music project for fucking vinny vinesauce's band it's pretty good
  12. Brukel - An interesting autobiographical account surrounded by an extremely subpar game.
  13. 6 Feet Behind - DNF. There's a lot I like about it but it's just definitely too long for such a simple gameplay looo, i got through two of the 4 campaigns but the guy with the lamp was getting kind of frustrating. Maybe I'll go back sometime.
  14. The 7th Sign Project - DNF ehhhhh
  15. Aftershock Coastline - A short and sweet first person shooter inspired by Bioshock
  16. Awaria* - Cute but god difficult near the end haha
