Some sketches done with Red to experiment and test out art changes because artfight is coming up! Originally I was gonna try to do some style studies of artists I like but I started getting frustrated so I figured it'd be better if I just focus on drawing normally for now and oh boy it felt like I was relearning how to draw. Maybe it's cause it's been a week or maybe it's just hitting me how much I still need to study (I've only finished the bones of the torso part of the anatomy videos I'm following!) but oof.

Still even though it's rough I'm kinda liking how this is looking, still a lot of experimenting and style studying to go but I was really anxious that I might do all this art practice and it turned out I didn't improve at all, or that I'd change my style and not be happy with it. It's seeming like that might not be the case though and I actually might be on my way to making art I'm happier with.
