Objectober: Wires and Tubes and Metal Objects

Finally doing some art again! God I can't believe it's been like 21 days since I last drew but between work making me really tired, my grandpa dying, and then quitting my job and getting depressed life has been rough. As much as going so long without drawing makes me feel insane it's good to rest and during that time my brain got to stew some more on art. Most notably I realized I need to do hatching in my art more, this is both through analyzing gachiakuta's art, finally reading the soul eater manga for the first time, and examing the art of chupabara who's an artist I love that was also inspired by soul eater.

Onto the drawings themselves first ones not much to say, quite a bit of thinking about like cylinders and eclipses definitely something to work even more on I do plan to do more shape and perspective studies in the future so this is a little practice for that. Those ribbed tubes are definitely tricky I'll probably be doing more of them though when I get to day 11 since that day is planned to be gas masks. Ultimately this was a test of "how much do i enjoy just drawing random wires and hatching and stuff and honestly I like it I probably couldve drawn even more but decided not to overdo it since I needed to do a second drawing.

For day 4 was studying various metal objects because I want rusty metal objects in my art I love industrial aesthetic. Rust however is hard I definitely need to study it more maybe look into the like why and how of rust some. Chains are also hard I was trying to follow the "How to think when you draw" stuff but I was definitely having difficulty wrapping my head around it I'll probably have to study chains on their own some more in the future. Definitely room for improvement on all fronts but it's nice to get a bit of practice in :3.
