More doodles. In the future this shit will all be organized differently but for now it's gonna be like this.

First one was just some more practice doodles that went nowhere.

Second is actually very crude mockups I did for V3 of the website, I talked more about that in my most recent blogpost so I won't repeat myself here. Excuse my handwriting I didn't think to do the stylized writing i was doing

Third is something I noticed about my own behavior while I was watching an anatomy lecture. I think I may have a favourite area of the body.

Fourth was a warmup drawing I did trying to get back into the swing of drawing regularly again. I ended up putting way too much effort into it though haha. I was surprised when I was finished and I actually liked how it looked since I've been struggling with feeling like my art's any good and was expecting to deal with those emotions a lot while getting back into things but instead I just. liked what I drew. Pretty happy with the gore too, could use some work still, especially given my interest in using black shading and such in my art I have to figure out how to fit it in and make it look yummy. Think it came out well though despite not having done any studies.

Fifth's another mouse doodle concept art of the janitor cause I was thinking about him. Not too different from the first but has better shape design and such. I usually do these as mouse doodles cause I wanna get the drawing out of my head without spending too much time and effort since I'm not trying to focus on that right now. When I'm actually in a place to start thinking/working on this idea more I'll give him proper art.

Similarly another mouse doodle this time of an idea for another employee of the facility the janitor works at. In the game (if it gets made) all the employees except the janitor are dead but I still need to think about them since you can find information and thing they wrote around the place. Plus Szczęsny here is special since he's the one who actually treats the janitor like an equal and takes a real liking to him. There I go again with my age gap yaoi but this time they're planned to have an actually healthy relationship. The art could use some work but it was a mouse doodle and this is an initial idea, should work on my ability to draw short hair.

Then there's some simple feet and boot studies. I definitely will need to do more in the future but I was hoping just to get to a state where I can do a simple sketch without it being unreadably messy. In the future I'll probably seperate sketches and doodles on V3 but uhh for now the site is just scuffed as hell.

Next is concept mouse doodle art for Daithi cause I was thinking about him. My death trap dungeon twink.

After that's another janitor mouse doodle cause I wanted to give him a backpack and had to draw it before I forget.

I should be resting my hands but it's hard for me to do so so I ended up doing a mouse doodle trying to design Roach and Jasper's family members, Jasper's family was hard to design and i'm not happy with them but whatever, they mostly only appear as side characters in comics. Jasper's dad was the most difficult to design, in the end I looked up blonde yuppie for references, previous searches were young RFK and cybertruck owner but none of the dudes I saw quite fit since I wanted something a bit more Patrick Bateman like. Roach's uncle Rudd (rhymes with Bud) on the otherhand was quite easy to design I even thought to my own uncle and his long goatee though my uncles bald, never drawn a goatee or facial hair really so looks kind of bad but that's par for the course for my art. I could've drawn Roach's mom Marilyn "Lyn" but she's dead so I didn't (and im also lazy), didn't bother with his dad though because he's in jail and not important enough didn't even give him a name. Oh yeah also I gave Jasper some marks (moles?birthmarks?whatever a beautymark is?) because I feel like it makes him look a little greasier I don't know, he does shower and stuff but his hair and stuff gets greasy within a day.

Last one is just some brush test doodles, hhh2 is my usual but I like the look of drafter but the fact that it doesnt work well with the linear burn is a bit lame. Though I feel the linear burns not that noticeable once it's on top of other shades of red so maybe it doesn't matter. Also I changed my default canvas color to a more warm brownish grey cause I think it looks better and suits what I want more than the neutral grey. It doesn't matter when I get around to making actual pieces but /shrug. Tried to combine hhh2 and drafter to make some kind of brush between them but didn't really work i don't think they mesh well lol.
