After doing Roach I decided to work on Jasper since I want to draw the two together and wow it was a struggle I almost gave up like 50 times while drawing this but! I didn't! His face especially gave me difficulty of fucking course and I'm not quite settled on those though of them I think the third is definitely the best option, I want him to look like if he was normal he's be a cute guy but instead he's a massive creep. I could definitely have pushed his face and body type a bit more while he is on the small side he is still supposed to be fat so definitely need to work more on my ability to draw body types.

I'm also not settled on his clothes he's definitely a challenge cause I want him to match the things I want to draw but I don't quite want him to be alt fashion or anything, plus since I gave Roach a jacket it felt odd if Jasper was wearing a similar jacket so I gave him a trenchcoat though maybe it'd be better if he didn't have a jacket? I don't know he definitely needs more concept art. I feel like I've regressed in some ways and one of those is with character design and honestly it's probably hard to even tell what anything is cause this is messy, everytime I go to draw I feel like I just don't know how to. I'm really in a period of frustration with my art right now and knowing it'll take me at least another year or so to get anywhere close to where I want to be does drive me insane, just gotta get through it though gotta do more drawings and get through it, can't have a rainbow without the rain.

Perhaps it'll help if I do some play drawings that aren't stuff I care about as much or maybe playing some art games I don't know, either way it'll be a bit before I do more concept art for Jasper and Roach though probably not too long and hopefully I can start drawing my edgy art soon.
