Deltoid Muscle Study 2

Second pass at the deltoids. Not sure these are better, I tried to start with a sort of base boxy/pyramid shape for these as well as trying to get the twist around the arm and S curve shape of the muscles but in the end i don't know if any of that came through. I think I'm more inclined to be critical of my own work (to the point where my friends have commented that I'm too hard on myself) and I don't feel like I've trained my eye enough to tell what's right or not so it's hard to tell at times if I've done a better job. I felt like I struggled a lot to get the lines how I wanted when drawing these but I guess I've always just been a messy draw-er. Hell this was my artistic process up until 2020, I suppose maybe I should try to do some exercises to improve line quality and control. I felt the same when doing the brush test doodles I'm also uploading on my site right now, that my line quality isn't very great and it's extra noticable when using smooth brushes.
You can see with 5 I tried to do a bit of diagrams above of the same pose trying to really understand and clarify what I was looking at. With these I tried more at sort of designing the shape of them and trying to keep up the asymmetry of the body though I might've ended up making them all too "bulbous" and a bit too pointy as a result. The pyramid shape is just from proko but I also watched sinix designs anatomy quick tips on the shoulder beforehand which got me thinking about the boxy shape, though trying to do either was difficult because of perspective, god it's gonna take me forever to understand the perspective of the body.
Also I decided not to upload the gesture drawings I did as a warmup, I am still doing them i just decided it was a waste of time and space uploading them at this moment.
