Back Muscles 1-1

Some studies of the lower back muscles, mostly the lats but I was trying to think of the erectus spinae as well but honestly I definitely forgot information about the forms as I went to draw these, definitely a lesson I'll benefit from doing a second pass on later. The drawings themselves are also a bit awkward particularly 5 I was having difficulty with, proportion and all that I think I made the torso too short so I felt like I ran into issues with the lat muscle but oh well these are only focusing on a specific body part so they're gonna be awkward looking. Will definitely benefit in the future from doing more figure drawing.

Speaking of I know I've discussed my plans for art practice and stuff before but I'm gonna talk about them again cause I don't know I like to ramble and also typing out my ideas makes it easier for me to organize my thoughts. So currently following the proko anatomy course and as I've done before I'm gonna get through this "section" and then watch the critique videos and go back over the section a second time after seeing the critiques and analyzing my own work. As a side note I actually ended up finding a piracy link for the Proko premium course, it sadly was missing a lot for the leg section but I love piracy and now I have those #win. I've been thinking if I wanna like do stuff between sections though, like I also want to learn graphic design and javascript but it's hard for me to focus on more than one thing at a time so I haven't been working on those at all cause I've been doing art practice, I also wanna learn 3D modeling but that's a lower priority right now. So I've been thinking if between sections I should dedicate a week to somethin else? I've also been trying to do it so I work on art practice for 5 days a week and then have 2 free days but honestly I don't even get the 5 days done and I also lose track of days. Maybe I should use some type of journal calendar.

After I finish the proko anatomy course I will take a break from working on my fundamentals to do some studies of other things that I want for my art like style studies, genital studies, gore and bugs etc. Then after that I'll work on this Roadrunner thing I found which goes through a bunch of different online art course stuff, including the proko anatomy course at some point lol. I think rather than skipping I might go through again just cause but maybe I'll do it all digital that time and also only go through it the one time instead of what I'm doing now with going through each section twice.

Also for today I decided to add what pencil I'm specifically using just cause. In the past I have used sketching pencils from an art set my friend Aster bought me but I decided i wanted to burn through my preexisting sketch pencils I bought years ago (and mostly lost I only have 2 left) so that's the pencil I've been using for the past bit of traditional art.
